by Bonnie Jennings
Yes, it's definitely a cookbook -- with some great recipes that I dare you
to tell me you'll find somewhere else (with names like like Knee Patches and Corn Dodgers) -- but, to call this
a cookbook leaves out sooo much.
There is a story for every recipe, tidbits and
hints (not necessarily about cooking), laced randomly throughout the book.
Originally compiled as a Christmas present for her children and grandchildren, I
have to thank Mrs. Jennings -- what a great idea, and what a great ebook.
This cookbook is so full of feelings -- several times while reading I found my eyes tearing up, and
by the time I got to the end, I felt like a member of the family myself.
